Conquer the Look of Ryomen Sukuna: A Guide to His Costume

Transform into the King of Curses from Jujutsu Kaisen

sukuna

Ryomen Sukuna, an important and mysterious figure in the “Jujutsu Kaisen” universe, is known as the “King of Curses.”

Initially a human sorcerer during the Heian period, Sukuna’s unrivaled prowess and malevolence surpassed human limitations, eventually transforming him into a potent curse after his death. Sukuna’s legacy is marked by his voracious desire for destruction and power, as well as four arms and a countenance that intimidates even the most experienced sorcerers. Following a massive struggle, his essence was sealed into twenty indestructible fingers, where it remained dormant for generations. This hibernation was unexpectedly broken when Yuji Itadori, a high school student, consumed one of Sukuna’s fingers, becoming his vessel. This sets the setting for Sukuna’s re-entry into the world, where he continually fights for control of Yuji’s body while plotting his return to full vigor, threatening to unleash chaos and evil once more.

Channeling Ryomen Sukuna: Tips for Capturing His Menacing Presence

The formidable ‘King of Curses’ boasts an array of powers and abilities.

  • Cleave and Dismantle: Cleave is designed to cut through any target, regardless of durability or cursed energy resistance, and its strength is adjusted to guarantee it does so. Dismantle is a more general slicing attack that can cut through non-living things or weaker adversaries.

Sukuna’s Domain Expansion, Malevolent Shrine, is a tribute to his incredible strength. When activated, it appears as a massive, temple-like building that destroys anything within a specific radius. Malevolent Shrine, unlike other realms, does not require a boundary, allowing Sukuna to spread its reach without constraining himself, making escape or defense extremely difficult for his victims.

Even more complicated than his powers, is Sukuna’s personality, with a blend of ruthlessness, intelligence and dark charisma. A character commanding fear and fascination.

Reveling in chaos and destruction, he finds delight in causing pain and suffering to others.

Crafting the Perfect Ryomen Sukuna Costume: Detailed Instructions

Of course, we wouldn’t want you to cause pain and suffering to others or be manipulative, but you can incorporate the (slightly) positive traits.

  • Observant behavior: Pay close attention to your surroundings and the people inside them. Make it evident that you are continually analyzing and assessing everything.
  • Self-confidence: Never question your abilities or your decisions. Act with total assurance and reject any notion that you are incorrect or weak.
  • Acknowledge strength and power: Show grudging respect to those with exceptional power or expertise. This regard can be subtle, such as a nod of approval or an unusual compliment.

Sukuna’s costume is a kimono-inspired attire. The white contrasts dramatically with his dark and wicked character, creating a stunning and scary image.

The costume consists of:

  • A white kimono, with wide and flowing sleeves with a blue border
  • Obi with a geometric design
  • A navy blue scarf or collar around the neck

When putting on Sukuna’s outfit, include his trademark black markings on the face and body to complete the look. These tattoos are vital for capturing his identity and otherworldly abilities.
