Initially referred to as Dr. Harleen Quinzel, Harley Quinn began her career at Arkham Asylum as a psychiatrist and was tasked with treating the Joker. But in the end, her obsession with the Joker made her his lover and accomplice, taking on the identity of Harley Quinn.

Harley Quinn is usually portrayed as a complicated person with a difficult history. Her change from Dr. Harleen Quinzel to Harley Quinn represents a plunge into insanity and an acceptance of chaos. Harley is frequently presented as sympathetic even though she has evil tendencies because of her turbulent relationship with the Joker and her need for validation and belonging.

Harley Quinn joins Task Force X, also referred to as the Suicide Squad, in the Suicide Squad television series. The government enlists a group of supervillains in prison called Task Force X to carry out risky operations in return for shorter prison terms. Because of her membership in the Suicide Squad, Harley’s character may now be examined in a new light as she works through the difficulties in her relationships with the other members of the squad and her own moral dilemmas.

Harley Quinn is portrayed as someone who loves to get into trouble and wreak havoc. She exudes a lively and playful personality, frequently exchanging clever remarks and humorous jokes even when confronted with perilous circumstances. Harley’s bright and unique outfit, along with her propensity to use unusual weapons like a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire, are reflections of her humorous character.

Harley is also known to be the ‘wild card’ within the Suicide Squad because of how unpredictable her character is. Her actions are mainly motivated by her emotions.
